Using the text of Shakespeare’s The Tempest as a point
of departure, seven women have created a piece that
interprets and explores the mythological, the
individual, the magical and the commonplace.
The work unravels themes encompassed in Shakespeare’s
play through exploring aspects like forgiveness,
enslavement and liberation, rites of passage, and the
evolution of the spirit.
For:Give seeks to inspire our community to entertain a
breadth of understanding and interpretations in
forgiveness.
