Andy is the artistic and
executive director for CITE, a
multicultural school-touring troupe
associated with Insight Out
that performs shows about Bully
Prevention, Diversity, Recycling,
Energy and Water conservation. Over
the past year, he has performed in
Metamorphoses at Artists
Repertory Theatre, his one-man show
Men On The Verge and Clean
with Miracle Theatre Company.
In 2006, Andy earned a Drammy Award
for Best Actor for his craft in
Men On The Verge 2 and recently
won a Best Director Drammy Award
for the Insight Out and CITE
production of
The Yellow Boat.
Andy directed
Insight Out's January production
The Yellow Boat in collaboration
with CITE Educational Theatre
and Do Jump! He has also performed
with Profile Theatre in the
Lisbon Traviata, and in
Anonymous Theatre for Theatre
Vertigo. He directed Ramona
Quimby for the Oregon Children's
Theatre in 2005. He has performed in
Love! Valour! Compassion!, The
Laramie Project, A Question of Mercy,
and Touch for Artists
Repertory Theatre. Some favorite
roles include Richard III and Iago
for Southwest Shakespeare in Phoenix
and Sedona, Arizona. For the Oregon
Shakespeare Festival, he worked for
two seasons as an actor playing The
Moon in Blood Wedding,
Florizal in A Winters, Curio
in Twelfth Night, and Friar
John in Romeo and Juliet.
Last year, and recently again, he
had the honor of performing with DO
JUMP! as Paolo Lugari in
Entusiasmo! He has directed
Edward II, Shakespeare's
Romeo and Juliet, Mid-Summer Nights
Dream, Twelfth Night, and
Much Ado About Nothing among
others. He has received Arizoni
awards for his work as an actor and
director in Phoenix, as well as
Drammy awards for his work as a
director and an actor in Portland.
Last Fall, he was seen in ONE -
The Musical as John, Sid's
father, and in the ensemble.

Michelle Cheney |
Board President/Grant Writer
Michelle Cheney has been an
enthusiastic supporter of Insight
Out for 4 years and was a founding
board member.
Michelle received her Master of
Business Administration Degree from
Portland State University. She works
as the Marketing Director and
Business Manager of Pacific
Pathology Associates and has worked
in the medical management field for
14 years, including 10 years at OHSU.
She supports almost every theatre in
town as a volunteer usher. In her
free time, Michelle enjoys attending
theater and dance performances with
her husband and playing peek-a-boo
with her one-year-old daughter.

Bio
Nicole Lane | Board
Treasurer/Marketing & Public Relations
Director
Nicole has worked around the U.S.,
in a variety of professional and
volunteer roles. She holds a BA in
Technical Journalism from Oregon
State University. After starting in
public relations for the Portland
Rose Festival, Nicole was a Program
Coordinator for the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society in Kansas, doing
event coordination, sponsor
development, marketing and public
relations for this non-profit
organization. She also holds a
Secondary Social Science credential
from Wichita State University
and taught junior and senior high
school. Nicole’s collaborative
start-up experience includes
developing a mother/child wellness
program, a large organic family
co-op and a high school peer
mentoring program. She also runs a
home-based PR & Marketing business
"the Art of Sharing." Currently, she chooses to work
from home, able to be present and
involved in the life experiences of
her young sons. Nicole has
found her creativity
reawakened by her involvements with
Insight Out and has been inspired to
action in the Arts.
Marcia Lepley | Board Secretary / Literary
Manager
Marcia has spent the last 24 years
in the Portland business community,
10 of those years were spent in
retail management. For the last 14
years, Marcia has been an employee
of Columbia Sportswear as a Regional
Account Manager as well as a
Training Facilitator. She is an
ardent supporter of the arts, with a
focus on theater. She is delighted
to be on the Board because it
transports her back to her
production days at the old
Storefront Theatre in Portland.
